The first commercial beer available in cans began in 1935 in Richmond, Virginia.Not long after that, sodas, with their higher acidity and somewhat higher pressures, were available in cans. The key development for storing drinks in cans was the interior liner, typically plastic or sometimes a waxy substance, that helped to keep the product's flavor from being ruined by a chemical reaction with the metal. Another major factor for the timing was the repeal of Prohibition in the United States at the end of 1933.

Q: What does one set of three-piece can consist of?
A: Three-piece cans consist of a welded body and a sanitary end. The welded body will be sealed with sanitary end or easy-open end on bottom.
Q: How long to get tin cans?
A: Lead time for standard or stock items is usually 3-6 weeks, custom items are generally 6-10 weeks or longer depending on the complexity of the project.
Q: How to seal the tin cans?
A: Commonly you can seal the tin cans with their existing sealing machines, we will send some sets of cans to customer for testing, the sample are free.
If the sealing parts were not suitable to our cans, we can supply the suitable chuck/rollers.
If you do not have the sealing machine, we also supply the sealing machine, you can contact us for more details and quotation.
Q: Are there any after-sale service for these cans?
A: Yes, following are some services for your reference.
Sealing parts service: When the buying quantity is big enough, we will supply 1 sets of chuck and rollers to our customer, it’s free.
Live work : Every one or two years, our engineer will go to customer’s factory and see what can we do. Our engineer can help you to adjust the machines and improve the processing etc.
Lid loss compensation: We will supply customer some free lids as loss compensation every year.
